After two DudLs with input from members of our institute we were able to welcome our first external guest of the semester on the 17th of June: Rainer Kimmig from the department of Indology at the Asia-Orient-Institute, who gave a captivating presentation – inspired by current events on the topic of “Kashmir as a bone of contention between India, Pakistan and the Kashmirs.
We are pleased to announce that next Tuesday, June 17, our next DudL of the semester "Kashmir as a bone of contention between India, Pakistan and the Kashmirs" with Rainer Kimmig takes place.
Today we were finally able to start the outdoor season of DudL and literally debate under the linden tree for the first time this year. We had the pleasure of hearing an exciting talk by Dr Juliana Tappe Ortiz on the psychology of strong leaders in international relations.
